Exciting research findings: a new skills-building program is proving to be helpful to foster parents. It teaches new skills that help parents learn how to support children suffering from trauma or who have other special needs. The program is called ARC Reflections, and it has been piloted by six child welfare agencies in North Carolina and is now being expanded into South Carolina with support from the Duke Endowment. More details are available in the Duke Endowment’s newsletter. See the article here.
