New Tools for Foster Parents and Other Advocates
CHAMPS is excited to share these new resources, issued in September 2022, to help advocates—especially parent advocates—make improvements in their foster care systems to better meet the needs of children, youth, and families:
- Being Heard: A Guide for Foster Parents and Others Advocating for Children provides information about how to best plan and implement advocacy strategies. Written by communication experts, this guide shares lots of tips and tricks from media experts about to how present your message, where to seek coverage, and more.
