See this article about a new legislative proposal aimed at improving foster parent training by including specific training to help prevent sexual abuse. The training would be for foster parents and relative foster parents.  The legislation responds to a report by the state’s inspector general that find 50 young people in foster care had been victims of sexual abuse between 2013-16.
